Charlotte's First Birthday!

We celebrated Charlotte's birthday with friends a week early. We didn't get too many pictures of our guests (they are mostly on the video) so if you have any to share, let me know :)

Mama made her an Elmo cake -- the letters kept oozing!

Charlotte thought her cake was pretty, but when it came time to eat it, she didn't even like it! Ha ha! The grownup guests also found the Elmo heads a little bit intense on the sugar scale ;)

Here is Charlotte's carrot cake with cream cheese icing! She did like this one! Though surprisingly, she was not messy with her cake. What do you know!
