We had to leave the Grand Canyon around 6 AM to make our flight in Phoenix. The weather turned out to be fine along the way - it had just snowed in the mountains but it was beautiful. Unfortunately I didn't have the camera out, I wasn't awake enough to deal with it... :)

We wanted to get closer to some native flora, and ironically, we had to pull over in a very corporate suburb to do so... ha!
